The D.C. Policy Center’s founding Executive Director Yesim Sayin Taylor has been named to the Washington Business Journal’s 2019 Women Who Mean Business. Dr. Taylor is in excellent company: honorees are selected by a panel of judges comprised of Women Who Mean Business alumni and WBJ staff, based on criteria including commitment to community service, strong leadership skills and continuing success in their field.
Dr. Taylor started the D.C. Policy Center in 2017, which was initially incubated by the Federal City Council. Under her stewardship, the think tank has become a trusted source of data-based research for the District, with over 200 original studies published. We salute Dr. Taylor on a job well done. She has a lot to be proud of.
