Washington Housing InitiativeFeatured in National Press

Word is getting out about the challenge of preserving workforce housing and the Washington Housing Initiative’s innovative private sector-led approach in addressing it.

The Initiative was featured in two nationally syndicated radio shows this week. FC2 Trustee Josh Bernstein (Bernstein Management Corporation), who serves on the nonprofit Washington Housing Conservancy’s Board, was interviewed on the 1A radio show yesterday. The segment was rebroadcast on WAMU and also nationally to 355 local NPR stations across the country. On the same day, FC2 Trustee A.J. Jackson (JBG SMITH), who heads the Initiative’s profit-seeking Impact Pool, spoke on NPR’s All Things Considered in a segment on workforce housing.
