Federal City Council: New Year, New Look

The Federal City Council (FC2) has a new look for a new year. As part of its efforts to more efficiently serve the organization’s operational needs, the FC2 has launched its robust, new website and moved its physical offices to more productive space. Both of these new sites—one virtual, one bricks and mortar—will better reflect the FC2’s energy and focus.

“The FC2 is proud to announce the launch of our new website, which corresponds with the move to our new offices,” said Anthony Williams, CEO and Executive Director. “These changes refocus our work and the important role we play as a civic advocate for a stronger, more vibrant District of Columbia.”

FederalCityCouncil.org features a streamlined, modern design, improved functionality and easy access to essential information to help FC2 Trustees, stakeholders and community members learn more about the organization and find relevant data about FC2’s projects and initiatives.

Fully compatible with mobile devices, the website makes it easy to navigate on a wide range of web browsers and portable devices, and to connect with FC2’s social media platforms. The redesigned content library houses key documents, including annual reports, Catalyst magazines, whitepapers, case studies and video content.

The FC2’s new office is an open, collaborative space and allows for a more productive work environment for staff. The conference facilities and lobby are better suited for welcoming our Trustees and guests for meetings and events. The new office address—a few blocks from the old office in downtown D.C.—is 1310 L Street, Suite 325.

“We’re still working on getting settled in, but we’re incredibly excited to be in the new space,” said Williams. “We look at this new location as the start of another chapter in our history.”
