On July 13, 2023, the Federal City Council and IDEO hosted a workshop for invited stakeholders to generate and share big ideas for the future of DC’s Downtown. This workshop was part of a larger stakeholder engagement initiative on behalf of the Downtown Action Plan. In this report, you will find the foundational framework used to anchor the DC Downtown Futuring Workshop as well as the synthesized themes, opportunities, and ideas that came from participants in the session.
