Now more than ever it matters that every resident be counted in the 2020 Census. A more accurate count means that our community can secure more federal resources and that our local government can better plan for our post-pandemic recovery. Getting the word out electronically is more urgent now that everyone is physically self-isolating.
This week everyone should have received a Census notice in the mail. It provides you with a personal identification number and directs you to fill out your Census form online at 2020census.gov. It takes less than ten minutes. We hope that you will make it a priority and that you can spread the word among your networks.
