Federal City Council Releases Video Honoring Union Station

Having played an integral role in the redevelopment of Union Station in 1988, the Federal City Council (FCC) is pleased to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of its reopening. To commemorate this anniversary, the video below was produced as a joint partnership between Akridge, Amtrak, the Federal City Council, Union Station Investco, and the Union Station Redevelopment Corporation.  We are grateful to everyone who participated in the effort, including Joe Boardman, Ken Sparks, Tony Williams, Matt Klein and Beverley Swaim-Staley. The video emphasizes our pride in what we accomplished together in the past and showcases our hopes for what we might accomplish in the future.

As an active member of the Union Station Redevelopment Corporation (USRC) board, FCC is supportive of efforts such as this to advance and implement Amtrak's Union Station Master Plan. The Master Plan would remake Union Station into a world-class regional transportation hub with the capacity and vision to support the region's long-term needs.
